Creating a Creative West Account
A Creative West account is the overarching account that will house your CaFÉ profile(s) and allow you to interact in the new Opportunities Portal. You need this in order to search for and apply to CaFÉ calls.
The steps to create an account will vary depending on the status of your CaFÉ profile(s).

I need to create a Creative West account, but I’m not sure which workflow applies to me.
If you have never logged in or used CaFÉ as an artist, follow the steps for New User Setup.
If you have logged in and used CaFÉ as an artist before, but you never verified your email address, follow the steps for Existing User Account Setup.
I have an active CaFÉ profile. Do I need to create a Creative West account?
If you previously verified your email through CaFÉ, a Creative West account was automatically created for you. You do not need to create a new one.
If you did not verify your email address in CaFÉ before June 14, 2026, you will need to create a Creative West account. Follow the steps for Existing User Account Setup.
How do I know if I verified my email address before June 14, 2026?
If you verified your email before that date, a Creative West account will already be created for you. Follow the steps below to log in, or contact CaFÉ support, and they can confirm your email verification status.
Go to artist.callforentry.org/login
Click Log In.
Enter the email associated with your CaFE profile.
You will land on the My Entries page after logging in.
Note: You can check your email verification status in your CaFÉ profile before the Creative West Opportunities Portal launches on June 23, 2026.
You will see the status: ❌ Not Verified or ✅ Verified on [date].
Why do I need to connect my profile(s) to my Creative West account? What happens if I don’t connect them?
Connecting your CaFÉ profile(s) to your Creative West is required to use CaFÉ to apply to calls. You will be able to search for calls and switch to CaFÉ seamlessly without having to log in again.
If you don’t connect your profile(s), you can search opportunities in the Portal, but you can’t get into your CaFÉ profile to upload media, check on the status of your entries, or apply to new calls.
I created my Creative West account. How can I connect my profile(s)?
For most existing CaFÉ users, you will connect your profile as part of your initial login to the Creative West Opportunities Portal. Users with multiple profiles or those who want to add a secondary CaFÉ profile can connect them to their accounts with the steps in Connecting Your CaFÉ Profile(s).

Creating a Creative West account is simple and takes just a few minutes. Follow the workflow below to complete the process.

CaFÉ profiles were automatically migrated to Çreative West accounts for all CaFÉ users who verified their emails on or before June 14, 2026. No additional account setup is required.
New User Account Setup
If you do not have a CaFÉ profile (you have never used CaFÉ as an artist), start here.
Go to https://opportunities.wearecreativewest.org/ and click Sign In.
Note: Passwords must be:
8 to 20 characters long
One upper case letter (A - Z)
One lowercase letter (A - Z)
One number (0 - 9)
One special character (~!@#$%^&*)
You will receive an email with this code. Check your spam folder if you do not see the email within 5 minutes. This code will expire after 24 hours.
Choose the regions and opportunity types most relevant to you. This will personalize the listings you see on your Portal landing page.
When you’re ready to apply to an opportunity, you may be prompted to complete additional registration details for your applicant profile.
Existing User Account Setup
If you have a CaFÉ profile but did not verify your email address before June 14, 2026, start here.
Start at artist.callforentry.org/login.
Enter your first and last name
Enter a password.
Note: passwords must be:
8 to 20 characters long
One upper case letter (A - Z)
One lowercase letter (A - Z)
One number (0 - 9)
One special character (~!@#$%^&*)
You will receive an email with this code. Check your spam folder if you do not see the email within 5 minutes. This code will expire after 24 hours.
The system will detect any active or inactive CaFÉ profiles associated with your email. Select one or more profiles you want to connect to your Creative West account.
If you connected multiple profiles, the system will prompt you to select the profile you want to use.
Connecting Your CaFÉ Profile(s)
For most existing CaFÉ users, you will connect your profile as part of your initial login to the Creative West Opportunities Portal. Users with multiple profiles or those who want to add a secondary CaFÉ profile can connect their accounts with these steps.
When applying to calls that are set to jury by scoring individual pieces (Scoring by Art), artists cannot add more images after they have submitted their applications. Follow the steps below to add a secondary profile and submit another application, if needed.
Logged in to CaFÉ
Follow these instructions if you’re connecting your profile while on a CaFÉ page:
Select this option from the menu at the top of the page.
Click Connect Existing if you already have a CaFÉ profile you want to connect.
Click Add New to create a new, additional CaFÉ profile.
If you are connecting an existing profile, enter the username of the CaFÉ profile you want to connect. The system will send you an email to complete your profile verification.
If you are adding a new, additional profile, complete the required fields.
Check your spam folder if you do not see the email within 5 minutes.
This option is only available to users with multiple CaFÉ profiles.
When connecting an existing account, contact the CaFÉ team at CaFE@wearecreativewest.org if you do not receive the email within 5 minutes.
Logged in to the Opportunities Portal
Follow these instructions if you’re connecting your profile while in the Opportunities Portal:
Select your name in the top right to access the menu.
Click Connect Existing if you already have a CaFÉ profile you want to connect.
Click Add New to create a new, additional CaFÉ profile.
If you are connecting an existing profile, enter the username of the CaFÉ profile you want to connect. The system will send you an email to complete your profile verification.
If you are adding a new, additional profile, complete the required fields.
Check your spam folder if you do not see the email within 5 minutes.
This option is only available to users with multiple CaFÉ profiles.
Account Settings
Click your name to access the Opportunities Portal menu. Select Creative West Account to access your account settings. You can update your name, email, and password in your Creative West account. These changes will be applied across all profiles that are connected to your Creative West account.
Connected Profiles: Add CaFÉ profiles.
Personalize My Feed: Customize how opportunities are displayed in the Portal. Select the regions and opportunity types that are relevant to you.
Email Settings: Opt in or out of receiving weekly emails and deadline reminders.
Saved Searches: Displays all searches you have saved in the Portal. You will see a new feed on the Portal for each of your saved searches. If opted in, you will also receive new opportunities that fit your saved searches.
How to Update Your Account Information
Keeping your account information up to date is important, as organizations see your contact information and your login is tied to your email address.
To change your name or account password:
Log in and click your username in the top right corner to open the menu.
Click Creative West Account.
Use the edit [pencil] icons next to your info to make changes.
Click Update at the bottom of the window to save your changes.
To change your email:
Log in and click your username in the top right corner to open the menu.
Click Creative West Account.
Click the edit [pencil] icons next to your email.
Enter the new email and click Update.
You’ll see a message noting that a verification email was sent to the original email.
Enter the code and click Verify and Continue.
You’ll see another prompt noting that a verification email was sent to the new email.
Enter the code and click Verify My New Email.
Confirm the email address has been updated.
Important: This will be the email you use to log in to CaFE and your Creative West Account.
To update other information, such as your physical address, phone number, or saved payments, go to your My CaFÉ profile page. Learn more at Updating Your Profile.
Switching Profiles
Users with multiple CaFÉ profiles connected to their Creative West accounts can switch back and forth between them seamlessly. Go to your menu and click Manage Profiles. If you’re on the CaFÉ side, click the profile you want to switch to under Switch Profiles.
Only the two most recent profiles will appear in the menu.
