What is the "Creative West Opportunities Portal"?
This is the new, more interactive version of the CaFÉ Call Listings page. It combines opportunities from CaFÉ, ZAPPlication, and GO Smart into one location.
When will the new portal launch?
The official launch date for the new CaFÉ experience is June 23, 2026.
Will there be site downtime as part of the launch?
Yes, the CaFÉ site will be unavailable for upgrades for a few hours on June 23, 2026. You will not be able to log in or access the website during this time.
Accounts and Login Information
Why can't I log in with my username anymore?
As part of a security upgrade, usernames have been replaced by the email address associated with your CaFÉ profile to better protect your personal information.
What if I didn't verify my email before the launch?
If you did not verify your email by June 14, 2026, you will be required to create a Creative West account and validate it via a code sent to your email the first time you log in.
I have multiple CaFÉ profiles. How do I manage them once the portal launches?
You will need to create a Creative West account first. Once validated, the system will allow you to connect all of your profiles, enabling you to switch between them seamlessly without logging in and out.
What is a Creative West account, and why do I need it?
A Creative West account is the overarching account that will house your CaFÉ profile(s) and allow you to interact in the new Opportunities Portal. You need this in order to search for and apply to CaFÉ calls.
Will my existing entries and portfolio in CaFÉ be deleted?
No. You will still be able to upload media, manage your entries, and apply to calls exactly as you have in the past.
I created my new account but cannot see my portfolio or entries. What is wrong?
You likely need to finish connecting your existing CaFÉ profile to your new account. Click CaFÉ in the top menu and the system should prompt you to connect your profile(s).
If you are directed to a page that is prompting you to set up your profile click connect existing profile and enter your username. Follow the steps to continue connecting your profile.
How do I find the applications I've started when using the Portal?
Click on “CaFÉ™ in the top menu bar to access your My Entries page, where you can find and complete your applications.
Using the Opportunities Portal
How do I return to my traditional CaFÉ dashboard?
From the portal, you can click on "CaFÉ™ in the top menu bar to access your My Entries page or your Portfolio.
How can I see only CaFÉ calls?
In the Portal, click Filters.
Go to Source, and select CaFÉ.
How do I find calls that are relevant to me?
Within the Portal, click Filters. Update categories, such as:
Opportunity Type
Location
Eligible Region
This can help narrow results to your preferences. Once you apply these filters, your feed will automatically update.
How do I save a search?
There are two ways to search:
Enter a keyword in the search bar.
Click Filters. Select options for any categories you want, and click Apply Filters.
Once your results appear, click Save Search. Enter a search name and click Create.
How do I personalize my experience in the Portal?
Click on your name in the top right corner, and then select Creative West Account. Go to Personalize My Feed, and click Manage. Choose the region and opportunity types most relevant to you.
You can also save searches and follow specific opportunities that interest you.

How does this change benefit my organization?
The update increases your call visibility by expanding the artist network to include users from ZAPPlication and GO Smart.
Should I change my upcoming deadline(s)?
If you have a CaFÉ deadline on or near June 23, 2026, we recommend extending it to account for site downtime and to give artists time to adjust to the new login and call search workflows.
